Warburg's Apparatus (Rectangular Model) » It is a special purpose temperature bath for determination of Oxygen/Carbon-dioxide uptake/release during respiration / photosynthesis. » Inner chamber is of polished stainless steel tank. geared motor & eccentric arrangement is fitted to the unit to provide uniform oscillation of manometers. » Immersion heater is fitted in the tank. » Stirrer unit is provided to keep temperature uniform throughout the tank. » Manometers are fitted on graduated scales for easy reading of pressure changes. » Warburg’s reaction flask with centre well & side flask are provided for each manometer. » These units are fitted with photosynthesis arrangement having transparent tank bottom with fluorescent lighting underneath. » Microprocessor Based PID Digital Temperature Indicator-cum-Controller if fitted to control temperature from 5°C above ambient to 60°C with an accuracy oft 0.5°C. » In case of refrigerated units the temperature range is from 10°C ± 1°C.
